Please read these terms carefully before using Citizenshipped. By using our platform, you agree to be bound by the following conditions.

Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Citizenshipped. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legally binding agreement between you and Mupha Media ("we", "us", or "our"), the company operating Citizenshipped at citizenshipped.com.

By accessing or using our website, mobile applications, or any related services (collectively, the "Services"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the Services immediately.

These Terms apply to all visitors, registered users, paying subscribers, and anyone else who accesses the Services. Your continued use of the Services following any updates to these Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.

About the Service

Citizenshipped is a citizenship test preparation platform that provides study materials, practice questions, mock exams, and related educational content to help users prepare for citizenship tests in various countries, including but not limited to Canada, the United Kingdom, and Australia.

We offer the following account tiers:

Free Account: Access to a limited set of features and content at no charge.

Free Trial: Temporary access to paid features for a defined trial period, after which a subscription is required to continue.

Paid Subscription: Full access to all platform features and content for the duration of an active subscription.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Services at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Services.

Eligibility

To use the Services, you must:

Be at least 13 years of age. If you are under 18, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction.

Not be prohibited from receiving services under applicable laws.

Provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.

By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you meet all of the eligibility requirements above.

Accounts and Registration

To access most features of the Services, you must register for an account. When you do so, you agree to:

Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.

Keep your account information up to date.

Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials and not share them with any third party.

Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

Notify us immediately at support@citizenshipped.com if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.

We reserve the right to refuse registration, cancel accounts, or remove content at our sole discretion. Each person may hold only one account unless we have expressly permitted otherwise in writing.

Subscriptions and Payments

Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on the plan you select). By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method through our payment processor, Stripe, at the applicable rate on each billing cycle.

All prices are displayed in the currency applicable to your region and are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to change subscription prices at any time. Price changes will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle, and we will provide reasonable advance notice.

Free Trial

We may offer a free trial of our paid Services. At the end of the trial period, you will be automatically charged for the applicable subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends. We will clearly communicate the trial duration and what you will be charged at the time you sign up.

Free trials are intended for new users only. Creating multiple accounts to access additional free trials is a violation of these Terms and may result in account termination.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at support@citizenshipped.com. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until that date.

Refunds

If you are not satisfied with your subscription, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your initial purchase or renewal. Refund requests made after 7 days will not be eligible unless required by applicable consumer protection law.

To request a refund, contact us at support@citizenshipped.com with your account details and reason for the request. Refunds are processed through Stripe and may take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement.

We reserve the right to deny refund requests where we have reason to believe the Services were misused, including but not limited to cases involving multiple refund requests, account policy violations, or suspected abuse.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

Use the Services in any way that violates applicable local, provincial, national, or international law or regulation.

Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Services, our servers, or any system connected to our Services.

Use automated tools, bots, scrapers, or similar technology to access, extract, or replicate content from the platform.

Reproduce, distribute, sell, or sublicense any of our content without our express written permission.

Use the Services to transmit spam, unsolicited communications, or any harmful or malicious content.

Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services or the data contained therein.

Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

Engage in any conduct that restricts or inhibits any other person's use or enjoyment of the Services.

Account Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account, without notice or liability, if we determine that you have:

Payment Fraud or Chargebacks: Initiated a fraudulent chargeback or disputed a legitimate charge with your bank or card issuer in bad faith.

Abusive Behaviour: Directed abusive, threatening, harassing, or otherwise inappropriate conduct toward our support team or other users.

Free Trial Abuse: Created multiple accounts for the purpose of accessing additional free trials or circumventing subscription requirements.

Violated These Terms: Breached any provision of these Terms in a manner we consider serious or repeated.

Upon termination, your right to access the Services will immediately cease. We may, but are not obligated to, provide you with a copy of your data before deletion. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will do so, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and governing law.

You may terminate your own account at any time by deleting it through your account settings or by contacting us. Termination does not entitle you to a refund unless you are within the 7-day refund window described in Section 05.

Intellectual Property

Our Content

The Services and all content within them — including but not limited to study guides, practice questions, mock exams, graphics, text, logos, and software — are the exclusive property of Mupha Media and are protected by Canadian and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Services for your personal, non-commercial study purposes. This licence does not include any right to reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or commercially exploit any content from the Services.

User-Submitted Content

By submitting any content to the Services — including feedback, suggestions, comments, quiz responses, or any other material ("Submitted Content") — you irrevocably assign to Mupha Media all rights, title, and interest in and to that Submitted Content, including all associated intellectual property rights, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

You represent and warrant that you have the right to submit such content and that it does not infringe the rights of any third party. We are under no obligation to use, publish, or retain any Submitted Content, and we may use it for any purpose without compensation to you.

Third-Party Services

The Services may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites, services, and platforms (for example, Stripe for payments, Google for authentication, or Mailchimp for communications). These third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices.

Your use of third-party services is at your own risk. We do not endorse and are not liable for any third-party content, products, or services accessed through our platform.

Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MUPHA MEDIA DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

The Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

The study content will guarantee a passing result on any citizenship test.

The information on the platform is always complete, current, or accurate.

Any defects in the Services will be corrected.

Citizenshipped is an independent study platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to any government body, immigration authority, or citizenship testing organization.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MUPHA MEDIA AND ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.

This includes, without limitation, damages for:

Loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

Failure to pass a citizenship test or achieve any particular study outcome.

Unauthorized access to or alteration of your account or data.

Any other matter relating to the Services.

In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. In no event shall our total aggregate liability to you exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim or (b) CAD $100.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Mupha Media, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to:

Your violation of these Terms.

Your use of the Services in a manner not authorized by these Terms.

Your infringement of any intellectual property or other rights of any person or entity.

Any Submitted Content you provide to the Services.

Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall first be attempted to be resolved informally by contacting us at legal@citizenshipped.com. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, it shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, Canada.

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union or United Kingdom, you may also have the right to bring a claim before the courts of your country of residence under applicable consumer protection laws.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by:

Posting the updated Terms on our website with a new effective date.

Sending an email notification to the address associated with your account.

Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Services.

General Provisions

Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Mupha Media regarding the Services and supersede all prior agreements.

Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of that right or provision.

Assignment: You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations freely.

Language: These Terms are written in English. Any translations are provided for convenience only; the English version governs in all cases.
